What high school business organization boasts alumni including Troy Aikman? That would be Texas Future Business Leaders of America, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit preparing students for careers in business and business-related fields. Whether you plan on becoming a business owner, a doctor, a teacher, a writer (like our own content writer, a former state officer), or anything in between, FBLA prepares students of all levels for their futures regardless of what career path they choose in the future. FBLA has a mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. The association has four divisions:

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) for high school students
FBLA-Middle Level (FBLA-ML) for junior high, middle, and intermediate school students
FBLA Collegiate for postsecondary students
Alumni & Professional Network for working professionals and alumni

More than 135 chapters across the great state of Texas are active and participating in area, state, and national leadership conferences. Students compete in events ranging from word processing, where they improve their computer skills, to public speaking to 3D animation and website design! Additionally, students often travel to places like Anaheim, California; Chicago, Illinois; and Orlando, Florida for their national leadership conferences. Texas FBLA has given many students the opportunity to explore their passions, improve their skills, and build their networks even as young adults who are still in school every day. Students from El Paso to Galveston participate in Texas Future Business Leaders of America and go on to become contributing members of society who impact their careers in meaningful ways.
